Diamond Fuji Weeks: February 1st–22nd
From October to late February each year, the extraordinary phenomenon known as Diamond Fuji occurs, when the sun aligns perfectly with the summit of Mount Fuji.
February 1st to 22nd is considered the prime period for viewing this natural wonder, often referred to as Diamond Fuji Weeks due to the stable weather conditions.
Yamanakako is celebrated as the “Sanctuary of Diamond Fuji” for offering one of the longest periods to witness this breathtaking spectacle.
